Nothing like the stink of death on a confrere of similar advancing years to throw a cloud over the party. Will this add to voters’ misgivings about McCain? I myself admit to a prejudicial Yep!, that McCain’s already older than he is usefully experienced, and that this is an example of the imminent depreciation likely on his watch.
