It started inside and just worked it’s way out. I love it when that happens.
I’m listening to CNN’s coverage of Rev Wrights Detroit NAACP speech and it feels good.
The other day in his conversation with Bill Moyers the good Reverend mentioned that those who were using the soundbytes to do evil would find it instead did good. I liked the concept then because it’s the way I see things working most of the time. I just didn’t know how.
Now I know. Sometimes the very smart can be really stupid. The very smart who started the Rev Wright attacks under estimated two things and it’s going to bite them in the butt repeatedly besides often.
The first thing they underestimated was the intelligence of the common American when it comes to soundbytes. They assumed they would grab the soundbyte and that would be it. They were wrong.
But more importantly they underestimated the power of their soundbytes. Those soundbytes made Rev Wright a media star. They made him an important voice that has to be heard. They made him so important that his speeches would have to carried live by the twenty four hour news networks.
They wanted to use him as a wedge. Instead they give him a platform. The man is a master of the platform, it’s his tool of choice.
That’s why I smile.

Well, according to science, reputable science, Adam and Eve were black and communicated with clicks instead of oral communications we use now. So it could very well be that the Jews appropriated the Adam and Eve story from the Africans for their own history.
What Wright said was the Jews like the Africans used oral communication to keep culture history until written communication developed.
One of the interesting things that science is teaching us about racism is how stupid it really is. It does seem we can all trace our history back to Africa and little black people who communicated with clicks.
The next time you see/hear a child click their tongue think Biblical for a minute. That’s probably the way Adam let Eve know that she was hot.
There has been little coverage of Wrights interview or his speech this morning. I guess I just do not think the way most people think. When I see a couple of 5 second clips that supposedly represent someone’s 30 year speaking career I am immediately skeptical. I wonder where is the rest? I think Wright may still be guilty of seeing the world disproportionately through an older world view. I am probably guilty of that also.
